I am reporting on a book called Jonathan Livingston Seagull. I think it is good for flying month because it has to do with flying and teaches us a lesson.
There are two main settings in the book. The Earth is sunny and beachy, and Heaven has a green sky and two suns. Jonathan has a great amount of faith and he is the main character in the book. The antagonists are the 8,000 seagulls and the Elder seagull.
The story is about a seagull who likes to fly and becomes an outcast. Then he becomes perfect. He teaches other seagulls to fly. Other seagulls also become perfect. He had a conflict with the flock and the Elder seagull.
From this book I learned to be true to myself. Flying is more than aerodynamics it also faith. I also learned you can become anything you want.
Most people would say there is only one type of flying in this book, but there are two. Flying as a bird and flying in your soul. Finding out who you really are.
